We pay special attention to the procurement of medicines that are not approved for marketing in Croatia, but are prescribed as therapy in the treatment of Croatian patients, and to the procurement of medicines that are temporarily in short supply in Croatia.
Interventional entry and import of medicines means the entry and import of medicines that do not have marketing authorization in the Republic of Croatia.
ENTRY OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS
ENTRY AND IMPORT OF MEDICINES BASED ON THE STATEMENT OF A HEALTHCARE INSTITUTION
The interventional entry/import of medicines is under the competence of the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices, which issues its consent for the entry and import of unregistered medicines (in accordance with Article 129 of the Medicinal Products Act*).
Based on a doctor’s prescription, or a statement from a hospital or clinic, PHOENIX Farmacija quickly and reliably organizes the entry or import of:
• medicines that are on the List of Medicines under an unprotected name (the so-called generic list)
• parallel medicines that are registered in the Republic of Croatia but are not in circulation
• medicines that are not registered in the Republic of Croatia, and for which HALMED approves entry/import.
